The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 26 March outside the Zenzi bar in Esher. It appears that a fight broke out between two groups of people which left one man with serious facial injuries.

DC Louise Cillers said: "This was a violent incident which resulted in the victim requiring surgery for his injuries. We are hoping that someone will recognise the man in the CCTV images as we would like to speak to him as part of the ongoing investigation into this incident."

Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference 45160024243.

Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Two men in their twenties from Walton-on-Thames have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and are currently on bail.
